  2. Have a wonderful trip – what a grand time you two will have. Am glad I found this as I will follow all the updates. Be careful but have fun. (Sounds like a mother – doesn’t it)

  3. YAY!!!! I am on the seat of my pants (well, more like bathing suit)! I’m so excited and thrilled for you two! May the mishaps bring laughter, wrong turns turn to blessings, and may the spirit of adventure fill you with the joy of a life less planned!!! I love you both and I’m so proud of you…say hi to Lance for me. Don’t make it look too fun–that thing sleeps six and this boat life has had me wondering lately! 🙂

  4. Are you guys lost? That doesn’t look like the route to Alaska.

  5. If you pass through Pecos, TX, you must stop here:

    La Norteña Tortilla Factory
    212 E. 3rd St.
    Pecos, TX

Be careful of the salsa, they have one variety that we were told; “will strip paint”.

Also, make sure you visit Big Bend NP (and the towns of Terlingua, Lajitas, and Boquillas, MX

  6. You have brought back sooooo many memories – New Mexico was one of the place I loved. Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Carlsbad, the Tent Rocks and especially Taos. Durango was always great. Have fun and joy all – Love reading about all your real life stories.

  7. Hey James!! Just stumbled to your site (via facebook) I think its so awesome you guys are touring the country. Makes me want to do the same (except for the house, debt, and rugrats part)

Sounds like you guys are having great fun and I’m enjoying reading your posts so I can live vicariously through your adventures.

  8. You may notice some cities are disappearing from the “Our Path” map. Google maps only allows 25 locations so we have to take some out now to make room for new stops. We’re trying to keep the route in tact but have to remove a city for every new one we add!
