The Stories We Could Tell

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is so beautiful, and so crowded! It’s hard to feel connected to nature when you are surrounded by thousands of other tourists. We are pretty sure it didn’t help that we went to the most popular spot in the park: Old Faithful. Sure enough, Old Faithful Geyser erupted right on time (as it does about every 90 minutes). No matter how crowed it is, it was still an amazing sight to see! We also checked out the other geysers and managed to find a hike that took us off the beaten path.

You may have heard about the recent bear attacks outside of the park that tragically took one man’s life and injured two others. So sad. We vow to be more careful hiking and will carry bear spray whenever we do hike.

We are heading to Cody after Jackson, and plan to see more of Yellowstone then. Hopefully we will miss some of the crowds there!
