The Stories We Could Tell

Zion National Park

The drive from Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park was not an easy one. They are doing major road construction in the park and our route put us right in the heart of it. The road was in such disrepair that once we finally got out of the construction, we had to pull over to make sure we weren’t running on flat tires. A 15-mile drive took us almost 2 hours… brutal. James did a great job navigating us through the ride!

Turns out the bad road conditions were well worth it. Zion National Park was much more lush and wooded than we had expected. The Virgin River cuts through Zion and Emerald pools abound. Slick mountains made of rock loom taller than high rise buildings. It is quite a sight to see.
