The Stories We Could Tell

Happy Fourth of July

One of the greatest parts of being able to travel around the US is that you get to see how truly beautiful, vast, and varied our amazing country is. We really encourage anyone who hasn’t seen much of our glorious nation to stay in the US for your next vacation – there are so many amazing places to see right here!

We have really enjoyed visiting the National Parks, and Canyonlands (near Moab, UT) was no exception. A stark contrast from the wooded greenery of Colorado, Canyonlands is a sea of red rock canyons in the hot Utah desert. We’re not sure if it was the red coloring, the rocky and barren terrain, or maybe just radiation from the old Uranium mines in the area – but we felt like we had landed on Mars.

  1. So, so true, such a beautiful country we live in. That is soo funny that you would say that the Moab area looks like Mars! Ken and I always say that the state of Utah is like science fiction!! So much breath taking beauty, we took a(very) challenging jeep tour while in Moab, scarey but spectacular, can’t wait to see where you’ll go nextxxoo
