The Stories We Could Tell

My (sort of) Return to Womanhood

I am a girly-girl and I really like being a girly-girl. Somehow trailer life has taken that out of me a bit. I rarely wear makeup anymore, my flat iron is quickly rusting, and I seem to spend most of my days in Nikes and shorts (gasp). I am constantly bruised from trailer hitching and navigating our tiny bathroom. I have bug bites all over my feet and I can’t remember the last time I wore heels. This is why most of the pictures on the blog are of James – the ones with me are not suitable for publishing!!! I needed to figure a way to keep the girly-girl alive and well on this adventure… Pedicures! New rule – a visit to the nail salon is necessary at least every three weeks. Ahhhhhh… I feel better already.
