The Stories We Could Tell

Sedona

Love, love, love Sedona, AZ. It is beautiful. Everywhere you turn there are red rock formations. We have done some amazing hikes, drank some more great beer, and ate a lot of delicious food. A highlight of our visit was checking out the Chapel of the Holy Cross – a lovely church built seamlessly into two red rock peaks. Designed in conjunction with Frank Lloyd Wright, the church boasts spectacular views of the city. We are putting this place on our short list of places to retire.

Oak Creek Brewery has good food and good beer. It’s good. Our favorites were the “micro-light” and the nut brown ale. First light microbrew we have tried – pretty solid. They also have a stout that is a bit like a carbonated iced coffee with a splash of chocolate. Good in small doses – they even will make a stout “float” with vanilla ice cream. Didn’t try it but maybe next time. Check this place out if you are ever in Sedona!
