The Stories We Could Tell

Grand Canyon – Part II

So we had no set plans for Grand Canyon day 3 – probably another (shorter) hike, get organized for the trip to Sedona, and just enjoy the beauty of the place. Well, that all changed when we stepped outside for Tucker’s morning walk – SNOW! Not cold enough to stick but pretty solid snow flurries. We walked and just laughed. Tucker did not find it quite so amusing.

It was snowing hard and the weather forecast was for more windy/rainy/snowy conditions. With the temperatures expected to drop into the low 20s overnight we decided to head for Sedona a day early for better (warmer) conditions.
